money for nothing.....

early afternoon today i was cracking my head over what's for lunch......... someone suggested macdonald's but i was yearning for hawker food........

well dun fret...... cos when i am lost, my choice is yong tau hoo haha.......... i wrote about this store quite some time ago but good things should also be shared.....

makes good dollars and sense when it's only 15 cents per piece and $1.50 per bowl (includes 7 pcs and noodles)

find your way to bedok south market if you like good and cheap yong tau hoo........ the laksa gravy is alsooo most delicious......

and you can also enjoy free parking on sunday haha

top loader

shot this a few days ago........ another overloaded lorry on our roads.......

can they have a double scoop? cos i think the more the merrier...... anyway they dun seem to get into trouble......

possible carnage

i am keeping my fingers crossed.........

at when the "invasion" of don muang airport will take place....

enough is enough..... clearly something must be done to rid the country of this cancer.....

everyone is acutely aware that lives will be lost..... blood will be spilled...

there are no two ways about it....... when no one is willing to give way, something has to break.......

thong thong

new for summer 2009 and very deliciousssssssssssssssssss in look..................

comfort is almost guaranteed i dare to say..... in 4 colours, the louis vuitton thong slippers look best in black and white......

navy and red, well........... not so pretty..........

as always. the new range will be more expensive........ so expect to pay at least S$650 for a pair.............

a real bargain....... TDK

i've been forgetful ..... again i missed the deadline for my credit card bill payment haha...... anyway i have done a part payment over axs and also deposited the cheque ....

now hope they can overlook this hee...... well it's only a couple of days right?

after my AT headphones had overwhelmingly trumped and whacked the ipod earphones, i was itching to try out other possibilities...... a grado sr60 is an obvious candidate but it's S$120........ not very expensive but knowing that i would use it only occasionally, i overcame the temptation to spend the cash.....

by chance a hope came from sony, always the popular choice for earphones i guess.... it was actually from a sony walkman phone, which explained why the cord is soooooo short........

without an extension cord, there is no way i can bring this out..... haha i practically had to hold the ipod as close as possible to my face to use the sony in-ear phones.....

build quality is top notch and comfort is also very good....... the moment the music flowed through the phones, i know this is a gem.......... details are aplenty but never harsh or bright........while bass is deep and rich ....... it made listening a joy .....

i think bass is truly a strength of in-ear phones...... once you are used to this aspect of their performance, open-bud earphones are just soooooooo ordinary.....

therefore the solution is straightforward: buy an extension cord .......

and i made my way to parkway........ and found a few choices for extension cords and earphones:

audio technica 1.0 m extension cord $9.50
daiyo 1.2 m extension cord $7.20
panasonic in-ear phones $29
philips in-ear phones $49 (includes extension cord)
audio technica in-ear phones $35

hmmmmm........ so an extension cord is close to 1/3 of the price of an entry level earphone........ but if i buy the philips i get a free extension cord, which mean i could use the sony phones whenever i want........ i found it fun to challenge myself to compromise at not more than $40........ so which should i pick?

hmmmmm, something in me told me not to rush........ and so i detoured to cd-rama to shop ...... it was there i found the most incredible bargain.........

it is the cheapest in-ear phone i can find!!... and i thought the panasonic was the cheapest..... this is from one forgotten brand TDK at only S12.90!!! what's more it came with a free extension cord!!!!

this is ridiculous value.......... quite unbelievable........ *shake head*

and IT IS F****** RIDICULOUS when i realised how good they are............ first impressions tell me they are at least as good as the sonys......... possibly better if given more time....... right now i am listening and smiling to myself so it's so darn cheap.............

anyone who's interested to buy a earphone pls look this up at popular cd-rama............ u wont be disappointed at S$12.90......... it may even embarrass your expensive earphones.........

to make the trip more fruitful i also picked this up....

s-day.....

be contented that i am alive while others had lost their lives, innocent although they may be.... the fine line between life and death was they happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.........

after what happened, i bet all the hotels, buildings, schools in singapore must re-examine their security efforts......... nothing in mumbai must be allowed to happen here.........

very often these innocent lives caught in the crossfire were made sacrificial lambs for no reason....... granted that i was supposed to travel to bangkok for work, no words can describe the relief i felt when i saw what unfolded in the capital city of thailand over the past week....... i could have been stuck there, helpless and lonely...... but of cos i could grab a motorcyle and ride home all the way from there ......

praise the lord that i am still here ........ at home safely......

rest in peace......

i am so sorry to hear that a singaporean had lost her life in mumbai............ when i first heard the news of the attack and that one singaporean was held hostage, i hope she will be fine........

sigh, let me say my prayers for you and rest in peace.......

no my tea

from all the glowing reports, i reckon vacheron constantin must be very proud of their latest creations.........

however, judged as a design, i think this falls flat on its face........... it's plain, boring and very unexciting........

some said this is a watershed timepiece ....... cos there are innovative anti-counterfeiting features built-in....... perhaps it is.....

but no matter what, there's not an element of attractiveness........... it's a dud....

oh that's a cuppaaa

it came as abit of a surprise when i found out that some foodcourts are selling coffee at 1.50 a cuppaaa....... in comparison, most coffeeshops charge 80 cents for a cup of coffee....

although the rentals at downtown retail areas are much higher than in the heartlands..... i find it barely acceptable they want almost double for the same thing.....

as consumers we have a choice...... but i found out too late about the high prices.......

anyway it's a good enough reason to stay away from food republic.....

hand made to perfection.......

wow i am really impressed by the layout........... hard built by craftsmen, the interior of this blue circle phono preamp is choked full of premium parts......... in fact most of the parts are capacitors.......

one can tell easily that each wire and connection is soldered by hand...... no big PCB no machine soldering.......

unfortunately i have no experience with blue circle audio components ..... i do hope they sound as good as this looks from the inside......

sitexxxxxxx again

the annual sitex computer show is here again..............

my target this time is bluray disc player but only if the price is cool......... laptops, computers, monitors will be ignored this time round, no matter how cheap it is........ so are cameras ...:)

it's at the singapore expo........ i must check with my friend on the latest bargains........... just for the fun of it...

oh no it's 2150 hrs! i'd better catch my shower before my favourite tv drama starts .......

what what what is that?

forgive me hermes .... but is that all you can do??

to be kind, i would only say this watch is plain.........

gosh....... no way am i going to pay any dollar for it.....

forgive me hermes...

early dunhill christmas

christmas is near ... i can feel it coming.........

why though? cos here's another booklet on festive goodies........ from dunhill of london............

some of the newer products come embellished with a BIG touch of ice and luxury.......... if you think that a mundane thumbdrive is perhaps plain and geeky, you can pick up a dunhill 8 gb usb key adorned with black diamonds ......... very luxe but i think you might be spending more time worrying about the diamonds that your data haha......

specially for those who love the exotica, there's a range of accessories in lizard skin ..... errr iguana to be exact......... not your standard house lizard, which is too small to be harvested for its skin .......... if u dun like alligator skin or fish skin or pig skin, iguana is not a bad choice ..... friends or even strangers might be tempted to caress your iguana skin wallet ..... just for the experience....

i have no idea what this pair of slippers is about............. looks like a pair of crocs shoes to me.... the only think i am certain is, it is definitely more expensive than crocs

so do you have any thing to get for christmas?

more LV temptation..

found this in the mail when i got home last night........... is it the latest promotional booklet???

certainly looks like it............ so many tempting goodies inside................

here's my my favourite picture haha

relativity

well if my annual pay is anywhere close to a 30-odd year old superscale officer at SR9 grade, i wouldnt have to worry that much about the future..... these guys are relatively recession-proof ......... not that much of a need to cut back on expenses..... cos S$300,000 is quite a lot of money......... right?

how about a junior minister earning S$1.5 million dollars a year......?? sounds appetising?

not everyone can be a minister of cos........ but the flip side of the coin is, not everyone wants to be a minister......... top lawyers, bankers, accountants, successful businessmen all earn more than these political office holders.........

i wonder how it feels to earn S$1.5 million a year.......... it should be a pretty good feeling haha

phone da head

out of curiosity, i began to check out some headphones in the "affordable" category.......not too expensive of cos .......... always remember performance is key and price secondary ....... and dun ever ever forget about COMFORT........

i had a sennheiser HD series headphone but it fell apart after being neglected ............ the ear cushions disintegrated over the years.......... riders with neglected helmets will understand what i am trying to say............ foam became bits and pieces.. haha

so when u wanna buy headphones, do take note of the ear cushions:

are they easily replaceable? does the agent stock spare parts?
is the material durable and comfortable......??

the best sounding headphones is of no use if it's hurting you all the time.... so do you think the headphones in the pic are comfy to use?

grado is a famous name for headphones and phono cartridges.............. a fren of mine owns the SR60............ and he was mightily impressed with it so i bet the SR125 in the pic will be even better......

while it costs US$150, i would like to check out the local pricing ....... anyone knows?

lawlessness

if any mob attempts to surround any government building in china, i betcha they be shot and flattened by tanks in no time.........

perhaps china is an extreme example.............

ok let me try again, so if any mob attempts to surround any government building in singapore and malaysia......... i betcha they will be dealt with by the authorities promptly........

it's getting way too ridiculous......... and who suffers in the end? the country of cos.... who else...

tourism is affected, the stock market is affected, the business sentiment is affected, the people are divided, the reputation of the country in tatters........ and so on and so on........

respect the wishes of the electorate........ as simple as that.....

urgh....

after listening to the audio techinca headphones, i switched to the supplied earphones.......

URGH..! terrible.........!! way too harsh........! the treble and midrange were like...... sandpaper.....!

and i dun understand why the apple store is selling this for S$55??????? for this crap???

furthermore the AT headphones were cheaper than S$55.........

size does matters haha.......

bring it out..!

to test how good the nano is, i brought out a bigger headphone for use....... a audio technica i bought quite some time ago........

it sure is bigger than the apple earphones but it was actually very affordable........

makes me cringed when i see the prices bose and some others are asking for their headphones.....

with a bigger driver, the AT has much better bass............. tonally the balance is more laidback than the supplied pieces......

ok i wont be writing much cos after adding more songs to the nano, i am busy listening......

cheers

yogi....

thrust suddenly into the limelight, yoga is now the most famous of all exercises in malaysia...... RIGHT NOW....

it's such an irony cos the council wanted to discourage people from practicising yoga........ instead of achieving the objective, everyone is talking about yoga now....... haha

a mini giant?

for such a small device, the nano sounded pretty great............. bass is punchy and dynamic ......and of cos earphones are always the champion when it comes to high frequency resolution............ indeed it is a wonderful audiophile machine for use on the road....... and even at home if you build a system around it

my usual way of listening to music is through the stereo system in THE room so pls pardon me if i seemed to be an ipod idiot haha.......... and there's always the stereo in the car so there isnt a need for a portable music player at all...........

this free ipod nano has somehow kindled an interest in computer-based music systems......... i might be tempted to buy the wadia itransport after all...... sigh and i thought i am supposed to be on a money-saving mode....... cos if i buy the wadia, i cant resist buying a outboard power supply too

hmmm i think i will just keep it as a drawer plan.......... to be taken out when i am ready...... after all, this is only a nano not a ipod classic.........

now, does any ipod user not buy any accessory at all? i dun think so................ cos accessories are a lucrative spin-off industry altogether..... although the supplied earphones are more than ok, ppl will always look out for better ones.......

more on sunday

oh i also presented my old receipts at ck underwear to get my brandedlifestyle membership card............

never expected that i could have spent this much on underwear haha....... but then once you get used to the good stuff, you are hooked......... gotta make do with this temporary card till they send me the actual card....

members get discounts at gant, ck jeans and ck underwear......... too bad not at calvin klein boutiques though......

and the accumulated points will get you year end rewards............

today's hunt

managed to leave home at noon for the ocbc redemption kiosk at suntec city....... well i was pretty hopeful that they still have ipod nanos for redemption.......

now i could of cos park at suntec city but i wasnt so cool about their parking charges...... most shopping malls are getting ridiculous as in they no longer charge for per entry even on weekends...........

to get round this, i parked somewhere nearby and took a short walk over to suntec city.......... a little exercise is good right???

found the little booth close to the TCC.......... which is also next to dickson watch .... it was manned by 2 bored-looking girls who looked to be in their teens........they looked like they could fall asleep any moment haha...........

after verifying my particulars and charge slip, yeah i have my first ipod nano........ totally free of charge thanks to ocbc............ well a 8 gb model cost S$248 at apple stores .....

so simple is the packaging...........

no surprise here cos many things are made in china nowadays.................

black is nice........... and always popular

ok i spend a little bit of time installing itunes and charging the new player............... am listening to it as i am writing this................ it's not too bad at all...........

oh btw i am using apple lossless encoder............ no mp3 for me....... say no to compressed music!

just in time?

i've been slow to find out that u can redeem a free ipod nano if one spend more than S$5000 on OCBC credit cards......... and there are 2000 units up for grabs....

just in case they've run out of stock (the promotion started on 1 Nov 08), i gave the customer hotline a buzz......... seems like i might still have a chance........

hope i am there just in time......... wish me luck

coincidence......

haaaa....... for reasons that only they knew....... chelsea, liverpool and manchester united all drew their matches for this weekend ......

no goals were scored......... NIL.......

what a dull premiership weekend.....

rolex movements......

for those people who keep insisting that rolex movements are plain and poorly decorated, pls open up your eyes and take a good look............ these ought to make them eat their words............

one can now appreciate the quality of a rolex movement and also its beauty......... do compare with the types of decoration in my earlier post
pics copyright of foversta from the purists

watch movements and decoration 2

so a decorated movement with perlee pattern looks like this............

pic copyright of eta sa

watch movements and decoration

very often we read how artisans spend countless hours working on watch movements......... especially on works such as polishing and decorating the parts.....

question: what are the types of decoration?

to help our readers understand better, here are some pictures and reference ........... so much easier to have pics than trying to explan what is cotes de geneve right??

pics copyright of eta sa

silly waste of time

i find it extremely silly...... and a complete waste of time when ppl dapple in conspiracy theories that rolex operates an offshore facility to assemble parts on the cheap and then sent it to switzerland for assembly.........

and some went on to add that since "rolex neither confirms or denies it", then it becomes possible rather than just probable........

come on, the onus is on the detractors to prove their claims.............. not for rolex to disprove these rumours..... it takes no effort at all to spread rumours right? they can argue till the cows come home and none will be any wiser.......

so should anyone be worried?

well, read up more before you decide......... http://www.fhs.ch/en/swissm.php

therefore, it is possible for any swiss watch manufacturers to import watch components for final assembly in switzerland........... so long the total value of these parts is less than 50 percent of the cost of the movement (excluding the cost of assembly)....

since it is possible, is any of the swiss manufacturers doing it? given the level of vertical integration they have achieved, i highly doubt so........... but since i cant prove it, why waste time thinking about it?

enjoy your swiss made watch by strapping it on your wrist.......... and not be worried about whether one screw came from africa, india, china, england, usa, russia, japan, mexico ...... or anywhere but switzerland........

a good walk.........

today i went to scenic place, one that i cant even remember when was my last visit........ the singapore botanic gardens..............

not one to venture here by myself, i am glad to say it was a good experience.......... it was nice to enjoy the lush greenery especially for people living in urban cities...... felt very good to get away from the very common concrete buildings that surround us all the time......

as it was in the late afternoon, the air wasnt particular good.......... i believe it must be very refreshing to visit at dawn......... maybe i should try that one of these days........

well i kinda enjoy the visit......

btw i saw the CEO of AP singapore Oliviero Bottinelli jogging there as well.......... he was wearing a AP team alinghi watch haha........

oh mighty it's heavy..! JLC Master Compressor Extreme Tourbillon

i wrote about this in may this year........... back then, i criticised the design and rationale for having a tourbillon in a master compressor extreme watch case......

thanks to JLC, i have the privilege of seeing and fondling the first of this watch in singapore.... still piping hot from the factory and only arrived yesterday...........!

first impression:
WOW IT'S HEAVY!!!!........... oh of cos, the watch is made of 950 platinum and titanium.... it feels like a small brick on my palm....

other observations:
the strap is unique to this watch........ very thick, very well made and of extremely high quality.......... and the YELLOW is bright and cheerful..... however, as the strap hugs the lugs tightly, it will not fit the typical wrist of about 7 inches and below.... it cannot bend sufficiently to the contours of a smaller wrist......... so you will need to order a short leather strap....

the compression key works as advertised and the hand winding is very assuring and smoothhhhhh........ as smooth as a baby's backside..... haha...... after operating a compression key, i now find screw-down crowns a bit of a hassle to use....

case back is solid metal and has the engraving of the master control logo.......... sorry no sapphire crystal back here....... every watch is tested for 1000 hrs before being released.......

for the date indication, it uses an ingenious jumping hand to display the date....... i did not adjust the date out of respect to whoever is the new owner..... it will be interesting to see how the hand jumps from 15 to 16.......... how fast and how smooth will it be......

having the gmt complication does make the watch more versatile for frequent travellers...........

last and least, i dun really care too much for tourbillons......... hehe.............

list price is approx S$195,000............

i also managed to see and feel the new master compressor GMT..............

both watches available at the JLC boutique now.......... :)

Tuesday, 18 November 2008

1st anniversary! jaeger lecoultre boutique!

today richemont singapore is celebrating the 1st anniversary of the JLC boutique ..........

so happy birthday to JLC, management and staff of the boutique....

may the achievements in the 2nd year surpass the one before........

what if? how about a breitling WOLF WOLF....?

indeed the rolex sea-dweller deepsea is impressive.......... however it's also significantly MUCH more expensive than the out-going sea-dweller......... compare the list prices of the 2........ S$8751 vs S$12668!!!!!!!!

what if you want a diving watch that is rated to close to what the deepsea can do....... but for less less money......

how about 3000 m........... ? which is about 900 m less than what the deepsea can boast of..... far too close for approximately half the money..............

you have a choice.......... between 2 breitling WOLVES............. one is the avenger airwolf......... the other the avenger seawolf............ in fact, they are largely similar in most respects.....

so do u prefer a all arabic numerals dial........... or the one below.......??

although visually and physically VERY CHUNKY, i think they are manageable bcos of the lightweight titanium watch case..............

excuse me??? can you drive.......?

i believe ppl who buy hybrid cars are looking for

"green" tax rebates
better fuel consumption
and perhaps trying demonstrate their LOVEEEEEEEE for the environment...........

and this morning, on the way to work, i saw a honda civic hybrid zipping past me at approx 100 kph........... i was on leisure mode today so i kept at 80 kph haha............ in fact i was challenging myself to be extra smoooooothhhhhhh when driving bcos i was reminded of an article i read over the weekend..... the article was about John and Helen Taylor, good driving habits and how to improve fuel consumption.................

in particular, i was struck by what John said in the interview.......... when one adopts good driving habits to operate a "normal" (petrol or diesel) car, it can be more fuel efficient than a hybrid car............ and he is able to prove it as well.....cos HE DID IT...!

not forgetting that hybrid cars are not exactly THAT environmental-friendly.......... think of those expensive batteries and motors and so on............. manufacturers never never tell you the replacement cost for these components cos it will give you a heart attack.....

my point is........ i seldom see owners of hybrid cars driving smoothly............ so the cause of high fuel consumption is bad driving habits ...... rather than the type of propulsion system.......

teach him a lesson............

what can you do to a detainee who refuses to eat.......???

one who voluntarily refuses to eat......... but interestingly continues to drink........... well, he's not going to die cos one can survive on water......... if he's determined to die as a martyr, why not stop eating and drinking altogether....???? well he's smarter than that to wanna die over this and so this is just a sideshow........... he wants to create a distraction........

fact is: there is prima facie evidence to detain him........... and that's sufficient............

and now back to the question...........the taiwanese prison authorities should force-feed this stubborn mule.......... he should not be given this opportunity to create a spectacle........

tie him up and force-feed him!

it's for his own good............

what lies beneath??? rolex

saw a question on a watch forum about rolex dials and appliques........ e.g.

which dials are in 950 platinum?

are the dials made of brass?

are the markers made of gold?

this picture can answer most questions...........

why not now??? i want lower electricity prices...

why must they wait until january to lower the electricity tariffs............????

if they are sincere and determined to do the right thing, they can DO IT NOW.............

the system is man-made ......... so please dun hang on to this rigid system and wait until january..... and it's only NOVEMBER...........

if a quarterly revision is too slow to react to market condition, scrap IT......

do it now.......... do the right thing...........

shirt red...

i try to visit puma stores whenever i go to the malls.......... just in case there are new arrivals for their f1 apparel.......

although i was quite keen on the team shirt with the big logo, the fact i have enough of round neck short sleeve t-shirts was enough to stop me....

however, if i can find the long sleeve version, surely i will snap it up immediately.........

now that the season is over, puma might put the current collection on sale very soon......... so get ready for 09 season apparel.........

cut cut cut

the singapore government says it will try to help singaporeans tide over the financial crisis......

so will they cut income taxes.......??? i think they should spare me from income taxes.... although i pay by installments, i would appreciate if they spare me

some ppl suggested to cut GST....... but that's not a very straightforward step cos accounting systems, procedures etc will all be affected....... creating cost issues...... LPPL right?

it's easier to cut income taxes.......... however a proportion of singaporeans are already not paying income taxes....... so how do we help the lower income group...???

well why not just give away cash........ haha........ merry christmas...!!

personal decision

after thinking through carefully, i wont be selling my sony ps3 game console any time soon........

major reason? haha i am facing a personal credit crunch so i will put off an unnecessary purchase for the moment.......... moreover, the panasonic bd-55 may be in singapore very soon........ so let's wait......

anyway how much can i ask for my 1 year old ps3? S$350? S$400??..... in this way i still need to pump up some cash for a replacement bluray disc player...

but somehow i cant resist the big ticket purchases...... OUCH.....

finally....... the one box solution!

it has been in the news for a quite while...... i.e. starhub will introduce a HD hubstation set top box!

today they have a full page advertisement to promote the launch........... and this makes good sense.... cos in the past, to catch HDTV broadcasts, they provided a simple HD set top box...... and if you wish to have a DVR function, you need another hubstation set top box.....

now you can have it all in one box......... save power (electricity consumption), save money, save space........ so what's not to like...... there's also an ethernet port for internet access

thank you cos i have been waiting for this..........

how about a switch?

it's so funny to hear about alex ferguson going after the referees......... and he made mention of how these referees ought to improve their decision making.........

how about making him a referee for a premier league game......... and perhaps he'll know what is it all about.... and what not to say.........

given how fast the modern football game is....... we need more than one referee....... and we need a video referee.......

we cannot play football with a mindset from the last millenium........... learn from the world of rugby.........put in place a new system and embrace video evidences............. even though the video referee is not perfect (cos humans still need to intepret the video footage), it's far better than depending on a lone referee in such a BIG football field......

rules and laws need to change to keep up with the times................

today's task

i woke up early this morning.......... but it's a saturday, oh come on, i should have slept till noon time........ i am always a sleepy head....... too little sleep is not a good thing......

since yesterday, the onkyo 875 was back to its original resting place..... last night i tried the reon settings but i need more time to ascertain its effectiveness ......

but since i was up early, i might as well use the time i have to finetune the audio and video setup........ before i started, i re-read the instruction manual for the mj acoustics subwoofer......

using the bluray disc of cai qin's concert, i fiddled with the pic settings until i was satisfied..... full HD 1080p is really sharp........... click on the below pic for to see it clearly...........

i will spend more time to check on DVD and starhub cable tv settings in the afternoon.......

calvin klein again

CK is having a christmas launch now...!!

heard that there are christmas gift sets for men and women........... and also VIP get 30% storewide till sunday....

but i have bought enough underwear this year....... :)

back breaking

ok finally my onkyo amplifier is back from its service....... i.e. to update the firmware and DSP..... and it celebrated its 1st birthday at hwee seng (the local agent) tada!!

now this amp is ssoooooooo bloody heavy that i opted to pay 30 dollars for the 2-way transport than to carry it to the service centre...... i'll probably break my back halfway there... haha

let me warn you...... dun try to carry it alone........ it's not worth the try.....

and so the beast came back with a ver 1.07 firmware, the very latest i believe.......

after dinner, i spend a good part of the evening re-connecting everything......... speaker cables for 7 loudspeakers, hdmi cables, component video cables, composite video cables, audio cables, subwoofer cable, RF cable blah blah blah...........

the most difficult part is actually to carry the amp into the tv console........... sigh soooooooo heavy........

i knew all the settings will be gone but i was lazy to record it down on paper.......... no matter what i had to re-setup the amplifier and loudspeakers.........

slow but it was pretty fun to do it again........... just to relive the experience ...

after an hour or so..... everything was done....... AHHH it sure feels good to have you back my baby....... and thank you hwee seng for the good job.....

i only wish that the firmware can be upgraded in a easier manner........ maybe like the sony ps3?

what kinda metal.....???

is titanium a more expensive metal than silver...??? not sure but for tiffany it is....... their range in titanium and silver is more expensive than sterling silver alone............

sterling silver pendants are about S$400+ but a similar one in titanium and silver costs S$600+....

i prefer the look of sterling silver and well i can save a couple of hundreds............. so why not....

well well... do u play tennis? if yes, would you consider buying a tennis ball holder made of sterling silver???????????? wahahahaha, sorry i just cant help laughing when i saw this...........

tennis balls are............ MUCH MUCH cheaper i think............. especially if u compare to this METAL CONTAINER.....
