if you are a shopaholic, you probably know robinson is having a storewide discount ......and while most of the stuff are kinda heavily discounted (especially the house brands....), the real goodies are not....

e.g. puma is subject to 10% plus 10%........ paddock line is 10%.....

fortunately addidas is 20%...... which is why i bought the liverpool t-shirt..... after discount, it came to $36...... and it was the last piece.....

i read the comments in the papers..... some ppl were complaining why a big part of the 45,000 crowd at the national stadium was cheering for liverpool instead of singapore.... dont they love their national team?

oh come on, why the lament...... ??

the reason is simple..... no one in his right mind would pay 88 dollars to see singaporeans play football............

those that paid good money wanted to see liverpool....... as for the other team, it could be malaysians, banglas or ang mos, it really didnt matter.....

ok ok.... it was all square after 90 mins of football at the emirates stadium....... exciting no doubt but i guess everyone was disappointed with the result....... maybe except chelsea and man utd....

it all looked good when the 2nd half started, for liverpool began menacingly and was passing the ball around effectively.......... they were certainly more threatening.......

during the game, i felt that liverpool was hurt more by the sending off than arsenal........ sometimes having an extra man may not be an advantage....... especially if the opponent start packing players in their half.....

maybe liverpool were embarrassed by the sending off....... or perhaps even complacent...... the passing became poor and the lack of hunger and enthusiasm were abit obvious.......

nonetheless the 2 goals were absolutely fabulous........... for the speed at which the balls hit the net left both goalkeepers helpless..........

most-improved players are lucas and insua...... both played very well.........

this morning again...... liverpool was held to a goal-less draw by another london club.....

anyway i am not very keen on white gold jewellery......... most are rhodium plated and will tarnish with time........ for those non-plated, they are more gray than silverish.......... rolex white gold is different, they shine bcos of the alloy mix....... there are palladium and platinum in the mix so the sheen is permanent.......

so yellow gold is the best bet..... :)

i watched the last few minutes of the 1st half beetween everton and manchester utd....... the score was already 1-0 to the visitors and from the run of play, i thought that everton could probably not survive the 2nd half....

but then i was pretty surprised to see the final score at 1-1......... surely this proves that the match must run its course and if u refused to give up, there's always a chance....

tonight chelsea hosts liverpool in a top of the table clash.........

how will it end...???

hmmmm......... my heart says liverpool of cos..... but my head? i dunno......... but i know liverpool is tougher this time.......

i quite cant believe it.....

instead of imposing themselves on the game early, they had to concede a goal and then another to go 1-2 down at half time.....

in the end they emerged 3-2 winners in this see-saw game of football in anfield, liverpool.......

i have witnessed many famous liverpool comebacks.......... usually on a night of slick european soccer.... this one is different............

and this one, although just a premier league match, was of utmost importance.....

firstly to keep pace with chelsea,
secondly to preserve a unbeaten league record and
most importantly to silence the new-found confidence of the city fans......... bouyant cos they are now loaded with middle-eastern CASH....

looking at the how the game was played in the 1st half, i was pretty stunned to see liverpool trailing by 2 goals............ i thought while city was slick, liverpool wasnt really playing badly.....

i am most impressed with the way they fought back............ on many occasions, when liverpool was down, they were usually out in no time............ this season, we have seen them come back in fantastic fashion......

well done.... for a most exciting game......

no matter what, 100 goals is an amazing achievement............ for a midfield player that's INCREDIBLE....!!!!!
