it's time for starhub to tell everyone how much each unit of the set-top box costs........

in this age and day, they cannot expect to collect monthly rentals in excess of the cost of that box.......

if a subscriber has paid up the unit cost of one in monthly rentals, then he should have earned the right to own the box once and for all....... it also means starhub should lose all rights to collect rental anymore......

people have forgot how much we have all paid for rentals......

after thinking high and low, i have decided.......

to sign up for the starhub 8 Mbps plan for 24 months................

it isnt the cheapest but in order to stay on as a HUBBER, it's a small price to pay......

i just have a feeling that within 6 months, the price plans WILL fall like .....

like....... i cant think of a better word than F.....

soon i will have to decide on which plan to recontract for......

maybe the 8 Mbps plan at $44.94 is the most suitable at a price/service comparison........... i dun think i need 12 Mbps for my daily tasks.........

most importantly i dun game...... so i can shave off a little for the monthly bill.....

seems like m1 offers a better deal on paper........ is there any catch in between..????

finally....... the one box solution!

it has been in the news for a quite while...... i.e. starhub will introduce a HD hubstation set top box!

today they have a full page advertisement to promote the launch........... and this makes good sense.... cos in the past, to catch HDTV broadcasts, they provided a simple HD set top box...... and if you wish to have a DVR function, you need another hubstation set top box.....

now you can have it all in one box......... save power (electricity consumption), save money, save space........ so what's not to like...... there's also an ethernet port for internet access

hubclub and starhub and discounts

u probably know or dunno......

the starhub discounts for hub club will end on 31st Dec 2008........ and when i last checked the webpage, it has been extended to 31st Dec 2010......

i am transferring my starhub service to merge with the family's tv and mobile subscription to squeeze a little bit more discount....

every cent counts..... right?
