LV key holders....

i wanted to see the XL snap hook key holder but alas!!

the only piece is at ion orchard ... and i was kinda lazy to go all the way there just to see a key ring..... since i was at the boutique might as well see if any of the designs are interesting......

the SE was trying to recommend the following......

mini travel key holder: errr this one is plain and simple in design...... and i dun quite fancy the look

lv confidential key holder: i like the leather fob and metal plaque.......

coutre key holder: beautiful.... but too feminine......

metal charms....

when i saw this earlier in the afternoon.... it was like WOW......

until i saw the price then i repeated this right inside my head... WOW WOW WOW.....

haha.... very nice but also expensive.....

as good as buying another LV belt or wallet........ errr not so wise to spend so much on a bag charm / key ring right???

of cos there more affordable alternatives if you insist on a LV key ring to partner your bag....

this certainly proved a point that it can be extremely tough to claim "ownership" of a design unless the copy is blatant....

now we can all rest assured that not all flower monograms are created equal haha.....

when the damier graphite range was launched, everyone was so eager to see the range of offerings that the house of vuitton came up with.....

to date, i think LV considers the range a success, since men nowadays are seriously into BAGS.........

out of the many introductions, my fav is the tadao.......which is big enough to swallow all the things i could possibly wanna to carry...... fortunately it is still S$2160 today....

the good things i like about the tadao are:

zipper closure - allows you to seal in your stuff..... very private indeed.....

leather handles can be folded - very neat when you use the shoulder strap......

swivelling strap ends - all bags with straps should have this....

structured construction - the bag is able to stand on its own...... doesnt look or feel flabby.....

now things are getting a little complicated with the coming of the new monogram macassar davis.......

and i think lv is making it tougher for everybody........ cos the price is also S$2160!!

so which one is the choice..????

now the davis has only a magnetic button closure and the handles cannot be folded..... what a pity right???

however, the monogram canvas is such a delight when paired with a dark brown leather trimmings...... and there's four sturdy metal studs to keep the smooth leather off the floor..... i kinda prefer the shape of the davis as compared to the tadao.....

hmmm in life there's no perfect solution....... and usually we can only choose one....

well, recently a colleague wants to buy a new rolex submariner 16610lv..... the iconic green bezel diving watch...... and guess what, my favourite store is out of stock.....

i remember a few months ago, supply was not only plentiful but it also was offered with a never-heard-of discount....

but now? not only no stock and perhaps even no discount.....

so much about choosing the right moment...... 

gonna wear this...???

no way am i going to spend my own money to buy and wear this......

no way am i going to wear this even i dun need to spend my own money on this........

it's out of my league .... haha

slipper-y LV....

first stop for saturday afternoon was the louis vuitton boutique at hilton hotel.............. always nice and cosy. if u visit the ngee ann city outlet regularly, you surely will prefer the one at hilton hotel .... you will never need to queue at hilton hotel.....

after seeing the new range of slippers on the lv webpage, i had wanted to take a closer look.......... well the good news is: it's less than S$600 after all......... more like $585 if i remember correctly....

and this design will surely up your signature cos this is no low-profile pair of slippers.... :)

received this via the mail today: shoe collection for men 2009......

subsconsciously i always welcome a mailer from dunhill, louis vuitton, jlc etc...... just so to keep me in tune with the latest......

i found it to be much thinner than usual but as always very nicely done up........ no slack up by louis vuitton in terms of photography and prints......

although most of the collectiont can be seen at the LV official webpage but the pictures there may not tell the whole story.... having this booklet and visiting the boutique help to make the final selection easier....

any comments on this pair of casual sandals..???? looks pretty good i think.... i am sure the price is  GOOD too.... haha

to give us a choice, there's always something unusual for the exotica..... e.g. snake skin ......... 

is it waterproof???? i wonder........ and i wouldnt wanna be caught in the rain while wearing this.......

guess what....... if IT happens to rain, one may contemplate taking it off before running for shelter :)

my first recommendation is the new louis vuitton brooklyn gm in damier ebony..............

stylish and musculine (of cos it's unisex), it is one of the looking messenger bags around........ be it LV or others.......



my favourite feature is the inventeur tag........... looks like a slab of smoooothhhhh dark cacao chocolate............

guess what? the gm is also large enough to swallow A4-size documents and files.......... meaning you can use it for work....... a small laptop can go in as well...... very handy.....

having the strap in dark brown also means low maintenance........... i.e. easier to keep it clean-looking ........ even though it may not be clean.......

i am sure your colleagues, male and female, will be very envious........... IF you carry this

if you have no liking for the damier print, then the next one is (almost) surely for you.......

the messenger gm bosphore in louis vuitton monogram............ instantly recognition for the bearer.........

size is fairly similar ....... i am quite confident some will like the constrast of the tanned leather trim on the dark monogram canvas.............

comfort is almost guaranteed i dare to say..... in 4 colours, the louis vuitton thong slippers look best in black and white......





navy and red, well........... not so pretty..........
