a smoother breitling.....

for this year, they have wisely chosen a smoother approach for their designs.... pay attention to the watch case and bezel.....

instead of the sharp and angular edges, every line is less defined than before.... which is a good thing.....

what if? how about a breitling WOLF WOLF....?

indeed the rolex sea-dweller deepsea is impressive.......... however it's also significantly MUCH more expensive than the out-going sea-dweller......... compare the list prices of the 2........ S$8751 vs S$12668!!!!!!!!

what if you want a diving watch that is rated to close to what the deepsea can do....... but for less less money......

how about 3000 m........... ? which is about 900 m less than what the deepsea can boast of..... far too close for approximately half the money..............

you have a choice.......... between 2 breitling WOLVES............. one is the avenger airwolf......... the other the avenger seawolf............ in fact, they are largely similar in most respects.....

so do u prefer a all arabic numerals dial........... or the one below.......??



although visually and physically VERY CHUNKY, i think they are manageable bcos of the lightweight titanium watch case..............

oh no..... they have done it again

after last year's release of a breitling watch in black steel, they have decided to do it again



maybe the response was too good and they cant resist the temptation to tap on the demand .... so it's 3000 LE pieces for this time..... the breitling super avenger chronograph....



the first run sold at list prices and even fetched a small premium...... haha another 3000 more will only dampen the resale price......

booooooooooooo......... it's just no longer "limited" after all........ cos they will make more and more of it.... and sooner or later.....

deep diver..... seawolf

is there a race to go deeper and deeper...??? it could be...... well i mean the depth rating for dive watches......

so this new breitling is quite a deep diver.......... 10,000 ft to be exact .... very impressive indeed.... and not far off from what the rolex deepsea sea-dweller can do......

on the other hand, there is no difference between 10,000 ft and 13,000 ft in practical terms...... no one can go that deep anyway....... haha



at the very least, almost every surface of the seawolf is matt-finished...... and that's how i like them to be.....



if i have to be critical, one sore point is the oversized 6 and 9 o'clock markers...... way TOO BIGGGGGGG.......

breitling: this one is nice......

it's not easy to find something nice at a reasonable price..... and while breitling dive watches are affordable, they are far from nice most of the times.......

this one is different......... a new release from breitling's on-going search for their heritage, it is an extension of the design first seen on the superocean heritage........



likes:

• sleek, cool and very refreshing is the plain bezel........ no tachometric scale and no numerical markings, it is pure black with simple silver markings.......
• retro-looking chronograph pushers......
• crystal and bezel surfaces are flushed......
• the BIG arrow-shaped hour hand

dislikes:

• hour markers just a little too long for my liking
• on the dial, there is too much text concentrated in one small area........

weekend routine: sleep until shiok shiok then wake up......

sms alert: friend jio me go suntec....... visit the newly renovated sincere watch outlet........ ok lor, since i got nothing up might as well go down see see look look.......

on the way there........ as usual lah, road hoggers abound.......... ok..... before the speed camera stretch is 80 kph.......... then why slow down to 70....??............. KNN....... pls wake up lah, if u dun wanna go faster then pls keep left......... dun they understand the simple logic? pls keep left unless overtaking...??? sigh....KNN

the sincere outlet is very close to the location before they were closed for renovation....... there's a big section allocated as the breitling boutique area....... well i am not exactly a breitling fan so i cant appreciate why they need a boutique for it..... so far i only like their navitimer watches and recently the superocean classic oso quite nice........ the rest ah........ errr....forget it man....... breitling for bentley.??........*keep quiet*.......

the other displays quite standard lor.......... a. lange, AP...IWC.... chopard LUC.... tag, omega, ebel...... one thing interesting is fp journe......... only 2 watches so see see look look........ they also have a good range of zenith.............haha.......scary designs....:)
