this butt another but...

another outsourcing initiative this time involves the running of SAF firing ranges....... and reading this report reminds me of the time when we had to do our job as butt party .....

so what is butt party?

a nice term it may be but butt party simply refers to a bunch of guys who work in unison to operate wooden target boards, of which the most common is fig 11.....

aha, it was all manual labour back then but it is fun to think of the nonsense we had back then.....

some of the things i had encountered was.....

a.        the whole place was flooded and many of us had to stand in deeper-than-ankle waters while the shoot was on-going

b.        someone was not satisfied with our performance and made us do push-ups in the confines of the butt.......

c.        the place was SOOOO hot in the afternoon and it felt like so much like a sauna..... but some guys can still fall asleep .....

soldiers nowadays are so fortunate.....
