simple greed....

what's the core aim for doing business? firms and bosses just wanna make money, more and more of it...

consumer rights is not really a factor until it affects their bottom line.......... if given the choice, they will F the customer every time and rub their noses at you.

and when they tell you certain deals and certain products are exclusive, they are in fact not interested in making you feel special or privileged. they just wanna F more money out of your pocket.......

so what is the right price for exclusive pay TV content? it really depends on who you ask.....

i know of people who subscribes to ALL the pay TV channels and have set-top boxes in every rooms in their homes............ and also others who has none; they watch free to air channels only......

however as watching tv is one of our national past-times, MDA has no choice but to step in when so many people are complaining about prices for programmes.....

i look at MDA and shake my head..... why? cos they so kaypo issue another pay TV licence for what...........

dun they ever learn? having SPH mediaworks to compete against mediacorp resulted in both giants bleeding..........

and now singtel mio had created so much trouble and boohoo..................

we really F ourselves lah........  not everything needs competition; if competitions lead to less benefits for consumers, then that's worthless competition.............
