so far i have only experienced acrolink's more affordable cables (namely 4030 and a2110) but their alluring qualities have already left me salivating.....
i cannot imagine what their 7N copper cables can do and honestly i dun wish to find out.... it may turn out to be a journey of no return if i succumb to the magic of high purity copper ... since audio is not my primary hobby, i have to distribute my resources accordingly ... so unless a used pair comes by at a reasonable price, i will stay away intentionally .....
replacing both pairs of silver sonic bl-1 interconnects with acrolink a2110 has been quite an eye, or rather ear-opening experience...... so now i am very tempted to switch over and try their speaker cables.... but at what price..???
the factory-terminated s-3000 starts at S$2000++ and is kinda out of my budget...... and that opens the door for the s-1400 and s-1010 6N speaker cables.... being bulk cables they can be cheaper in the end as one does not pay for factory labour and other expenses e.g. packing and shipping etc.......
anyway there's no rush when it comes to upgrading so i will weigh things out...... but let's see if i can sell my current pair of speaker cables to finance this upgrade .....
