refreshed!

sent my car for servicing recently...........

i took the standard service package (S$128) at shell autoserv which includes shell helix ultra engine oil and OEM oil filter..... and some other regular checks.....

i have no idea why i prefer to go back to shell autoserv ....... maybe i find their services reliable and reasonably priced...

for the past few weeks, there was some noise coming from the engine bay when i started the car, especially on cold mornings......... as it's like high pitch whining, i suspected that one of the belts might need replacement...... mileage is now approx 65,000 km and i hope the timing belt is still ok..... cos timing belt typically needs replacement at 80,000 to 100,000 km......

after checking, the mechanic informed me that the aircon belt, fan belt and front brake pads needed replacing.......... so i said go ahead cos safety comes first, right.....?

both belts were about $45 each and the brake pads (OEM) $85 for 2 pairs........... oh yeah, the brake fluid was also replaced.....

after servicing, the car feels refreshed and with the recently installed alloy wheels and tires, it's almost as good as new.... so i plan to keep this car for abit longer.....
