after selling my shunyata hydra 6, i thought of going for the acoustic revive RTP.... 

however that's an expensive beast of a power distributor........ even though it is supremely well-made, the price alone gives me the shivers....... i think most ppl would faint just by knowing how much it costs haha..... 

my friends used to joke about my hydra but IF they know about the RTP, haha..... wait till they know.....

anyway i needed something in the interim.... something which is good but not TOO expensive...............

which is why i turned to the oyaide MTB-6.... very affordable and a masterpiece in its own right, this is worthy of service in any audio system .... unless if your budget allows you to get a acoustic revive RTP......

right now this is how the distributor looks in my setup........... mostly acrolink p4030 power cables and oyaide plugs........ 046/079 and also 004.............

transparent is the word that often crops up in my mind when i listen nowadays...... the little puck is the TAOC SBL-13

i was fortunate to get a used piece........ and now i understand why used pieces are so rare.........cos there's no reason to sell unless the owner plans to get a acoustic revive RTP....... 

which is exactly why the owner let this go....

i went to the big wheel place last night.......... not to get a ride but to attend an event.....

first impression: big and nicely done .... but i have no love for the wheel itself........... only if it spins alittle faster ...

the drinks was good but the dinner, courtesy of a friend, is even better.......

and we got to see the latest in B&O.......... the beosound 5...... 

small in size but very BIG in price......

from the megu room, one can get a very good view of the marina bay circuit.......... i think it overlooks the last corner of the track....... right before it joins the main straight..... a very suitable place if u wanna catch the f1 race later in the year.....

oh now i realise that parking at the singapore flyer is such an expense.....

a clock to own....

if i can find one to put in my room, that will be awesome..........

alloy wheels ahoy!

i was at stamford tyres to browse at tyres and alloy wheels............ and there was this wheel in bronze colour by rays.... so pretty so cool but oh so expensive....

a few metres away there was a range of ssw wheels that looked almost the same..... at less than 1/4 of the price of the japanese original!

haha.... so much for flattery .....!!

if you are the careless sort, it's better to buy replica alloy wheels....... decorating your $1000 japanese alloy wheel with kerb rash is not a very enjoyable thing..... haha

auto transmission is nice to have.... when one is lazy to swift gears manually.....

and so are steering wheel paddle shifters..... drivers get to select gears as and when they wish.....

now if a car has paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel hub instead, then we have to ask what is it all about...???

is the manufacturer telling me the driver cannot up or downshift when turning?????

so ridiculous....... especially if one is looking to buy a 300 hp turbocharged sportcar..............
