The original model was functional....

The model relaunched was acceptable....

what were they thinking when they made this..???

it looks like a joke right next to the 50 fathoms, which is a pretty nice watch (except for the price perhaps).....  if u think 50 is nice, 500 sucks......

blancpain has done it again.......... after the regular model, we have seen the other versions in black and white.....

so what else....?? it's blue for the SIHH 2009.........

that's far from being creative or innovative............. in fact it smacks of laziness.....

black is everything.........

with everyone launching watches in black........ either PVD, DLC, in ceramic or other ways of coating the case material, it's not a surprise to see the recently launched fifty fathoms going in this direction as well..........

so is black still cool.......??

if you like the look of the blancpain fifty fathoms but not its price, why not consider the RGM....... looks pretty close to me..... haha...... especially the strap and bezel...... not identical of cos but quite similar.....

oh oh..... is 2008 special? or is 14th Feb 2008 so special? for manufactures are paying so much attention to this day of universal loveeeeeee....... in a way never seen before

after hublot's intro of bb valentine's, here we have blancpain launching a valentine's day model as well......

however, instead of a fiery theme of red, blancpain has gone for white..... a dial in white MOP and a strap in white alligator leather...... finally topping it off with a diamond encrusted bezel.....

what catches my eyes is the bright reddish heart at 6 o'clock............ as deep as blood, the colour chosen was the jewel a lady needs to set her watch apart......



other than tell time, the watch also has a moonphase complication, a concentric date indicator and day/month indicators to make this a worthy companion for female watch aficionados....

limited to 99 pcs, pls book early to avoid disappointment hehe.....................

new for this year, the fifty fanthoms is 45 mm in DIAMETER.... and that is big...!! but i cant imagine the size just from looking the picture.....

well i'd got news that the watch is in singapore..... and i am going to catch a look....... :)
