there are camcorders of many shapes and sizes......
at the top end of the market are the feature-packed full HD video recorders ......
while there are numerous mass market offerings from china / taiwan / hong kong that are as interesting in their own ways.....
unique features that make them suitable to be mounted permanently in a car are
motion detection (great for catching vandals..... and maybe even cats who like to lie on car bonnets??)
wide angle capability
HD recording quality (at least 720p)
long recording capability (using SD card)
easy mounting with suction cup
internal battery with USB charging
loop recording....
we should all get one....... just in case someone knocks into you and then denies responsibility.....
