the BR-01 is quite a nice watch (not for the money though)....... but this version in titanium, sigh, is a step backward........... especially the bezel, urgh!

i bet most ppl would still go for the ones in stainless steel

we all know paneristis is the group that have the most fun with straps...... but i am glad to know that bell & ross owners have a choice too...........

looks pretty good, dun u think???? much nicer than the OEM leather and rubber straps......

well...... change the colours....... limit the supply and tada..>!!! what do u have? a new limited edition model..... in fact 4 new models & 2 are LE i think......

come on, what is new? it's not even new......... just a bag of old tricks........ but i am pretty sure they will be quickly snapped up......

thanks but no thanks...... i prefer a little bit more creativity and innovation than adding or changing colours...... to make it a sought after LE model, pls have something new.....

Bell & Ross - new model?

saw at Watches of Switzerland a new b&r br-03 watch...... very different from the models launched so far......

this one has a black coated case..... but a grey dial with a military type marking......... so new that the b&r website has nothing about this..... list price S$5100...... keep a lookout cos this one might be limited......

i have subscribed to the b&r newsletter but did not receive any news about this ..... weird

also went to see rolex DJ turn-o-graph watches.......... winning features are the BIG gold bezel and that beautiful bracelet................ if u like 36 mm watches, this one is a strong contender..... RG is slightly more expensive than YG.......... haha looks like rolex is passing the cost of the platinum of their RG mix to you....... but u can be sure that many years down the road, rolex rose gold will look the same as its first day.......

another attempt to play around with colours.... is that all they can do?

an identical effort to the orange, blue and phantom versions, this is another ploy to milk the maximum out of simple changes to the colours used.....

a different colour and selling as a master stroke to ask for more dollars from the consumers...... nah no thank you.....

one of the more interesting choices for square watches is the bell & ross BR instrument series.... there is the BR01 (46 mm) and BR03 (42 mm)......



the most obvious choice is the black dial with white numerals....... and u get a choice of either the brushed steel case or the black carbon powder coated case.....

judging on looks, the black case wins outright......... but then, the black case is not really scratch resistant and once it's scratched, u r finished..... there is no simple way to touch up the case..... whereas for the steel case, the brushed finish can be really repaired with a fiber glass pen or sandpaper sponge.....

the steel case is also cheaper.......

if u prefer something exotic, they have also launched some LE models..... such as the orange version...... in BR01-92 and 94 versions (chrono).......... both are limited to 250 pcs....
