no compromise 3 - federal ss 595

after running on the federal ss 595 for a few months i am sort of ready to share my findings about this made in ROC performance tyre.....

i have no complaints with the dry grip..... and the straight-line tracking and performance is very good ....along the highway and narrower streets, it feels fine...... so even during turns and curves, i know i can depend on it.... however, with the pivot 3 drive set on sports mode 5 and above, i can still coax the 595 to lose some composure when accelerating out of sharper turns...... so i take care not to overdrive in these situations......

noise level is high... and if you are looking for a quiet drive u gotta look elsewhere....... and my LKK couldnt stand it at all........ and he thinks that that noise is insane WAHAHAHA.....

now what i am uncomfortable with is the wet grip during enthusiastic driving....... well, on the straight it cuts through water and puddles efficiently..... but when i am attempting to put the power down during sharper turns, i can feel them losing it...... and that is taking away some of my confidence.....

one particular case..... this afternoon i was trying to follow a lotus exige in the wet...... although i know i can do it but the tyres are not quite up to the task.... and that is such a waste...... of cos i know there is no way i can catch the exige on the straights haha.... it's just way too fast for my car......

deep down inside i knew it may not be the tyres.... it could be the suspension and the not fault of the tyres alone.... cos everything works in unison, a package......... up to 80%, the stock suspension feels fine...... only when things get nasty during hard driving, one needs more traction to handle the power.....

let's see if things improve......... cos traction is KING
