for sunday night's listening, i pulled out a few CDs that i'd not touched for many many years...... so long that i cant even remember when was the last time i cast an eye on them.....
i didnt play these CDs bcos i wasnt too keen on the recording quality...... most of them were harsh and forward sounding .... and i dunno why a few of the recording labels were able to get away with using so much reverb....... it just sucks when u know the producers did not do justice to the artistes.....
especially this one from 裘海正.........
the songs were brilliant and she's such an excellent singner.... but the recording sucked big time......
strangely with the latest setup it sounded pretty ok......... not GOOD but still satisfactory...... which is already a big step ahead as i could not have endured through more than a couple of songs from this album previously.....
the next album that i played was by 许茹芸......... in terms of quality, this CD is significant better than the first....... and i really enjoy the tracks that i chose..... good stuff....
to end the night i have i fed 王傑 into the tray of the CD transport......
all are oldies from my school days..... it was like back to the past......
hmmmmmmm.....
