aqva bvlgari...

one of the many goodies i enjoy is trying new scents and usually the salespersons are generous to throw in larger samples for me.... the key is not to store a fragrance for too long.....

so this will be my new fragrance for awhile..... for the moment, i have enough to go around...... but i am always on the lookout for nice smelling choices....

smelling like sior....

some time ago when i was at tangs, managed to come across this: bvlgari pour homme soir....

it may not be the newest scent available but it's really good....... if u have the chance, do get a sample and decide for yourself.....

unfortunately it's also one the more expensive scents .....

the lady at the counter also gave me samples for bvlgari aqva...... while the aqva is not bad, i prefer the soir....

sunday shopping

on sunday (which was yesterday) i went to ngee ann city to check out my shortlist of "candidates"......... my choice of ring and pendant.....

first stop: bvlgari boutique

a quick browse through their collection of watches, rings and pendants................ hhhmmmm i concluded they looked better in pictures so i decided to pass......... i think cartier has better designs and selections.....

but bvlgari has a classier elevator than cartier's..... :)

2nd stop: cartier boutique

in no time, i approached one of the sales reps to show me the trinity ring........... i wanted it plain so no diamond please.........



the choice was between the thick and the normal band....... and after trying both, decided that the thicker ring looks and fits better..... and now i know my ring sizes for both right and left ring fingers....

i decided i want the trinity ring! of cos i requested the sales rep to check if they have a new piece..........

but alas, the last piece has been reserved the day before!! damn it!! and to order would take at least 3 months!! gosh what should i do.....?????

it's ok.......... i can always seek out somthing else......... thank you and please come again to cartier boutique hehe............

well it's pretty fun to try all the pretty rings......

i wanted to take another look at the LV pendant but there's a queue outside the boutique........... NAH forget it..... i can always go to raffles hotel

oh oh ..... goodie

oh my gosh........ liverpool won!!

no doubt they played very well to deserve the win......... congrats

btw i also checked out other options for jewellery........ from bvlgari..... they have amazing designs...! for a pendant i am so tempted to choose the following....





i like their rings too......... although my first choice is the cartier trinity, then cartier LOVE......


anyway i am not very keen on white gold jewellery......... most are rhodium plated and will tarnish with time........ for those non-plated, they are more gray than silverish.......... rolex white gold is different, they shine bcos of the alloy mix....... there are palladium and platinum in the mix so the sheen is permanent.......

so yellow gold is the best bet..... :)
