road tax $618.50 (including radio licence).....

motor insurance is a necessary evil...... you need it and i need it.....

since it's something we all have to pay for it, why not pay less and be happy about it......

to test the waters, i applied for an online quote from aviva......

too bad..... their offer is not attractive at all.....

nah.. next better player.....

it's the month....

it's been quite a whirlwind ride for the first half of this year .....

and i received that letter last week, which is the notice to renew road tax.....

seems like it was yesterday that i'd collected the car and now it's time to pay the road tax...... so 6 months has gone like it was a flash.....

that reminded me i need to book for the 10,000 km servicing soon....

time's up....

finally the car is almost 3 years old....... time for the first inspection .....

went to vicom kaki bukit......... first u pay S$62 for inspection fee......... then the technician will bring your car through a series of test....

and it went through the usual brake test/side slip test/headlights tests........ they also use a optical reader to test the light transmission of window films........... failed the headlights test but then i have never seen any vehicle passing this test......... and i wonder how do one make sure that the vehicle passes the headlights test......... final results: passed.....

also renewed the road tax at vicom........ damage is SS425.50 for 6 months....... that's for a 1.6 litre car.....
