more controls... for credit cards......

we need more controls to defeat credit card fraud..... more controls may mean a higher cost but in the long run will benefit card members, merchants and of cos the issuing banks too.....

what we should have are.....

credit card with a photo......

pre-printed signature ... (since they ask for a signature at the point of application, this can be done easily).....

verification slips with questions !! (haha this one is like taking an exam...... so even if the bugger steals your card, he may not be able to use it if he cant answer a random personal question....)

portable terminals with biometric verification..... which may be one of the more expensive options.....

if only the bank cares.......
