more ouch in time....

'My understanding of typical business practice is that you increase premiums on those with claims, not your good customers.'

quoted from asiaone.com...... surely this is a misunderstanding.......

well most ppl dun understand the business of insurance........ essentially insurance is abour risk-pooling.....

e.g. for health insurance, those healthy "babies" more or less "subsidise" the ones who are making claims.....

therefore your clean driving record does not guarantee a lower insurance premium ahead..... when the insurance companies lose money, they will try to recover it from all the motorists...... those with no claims will face perhaps a 30% bigger bill.......... while those that had accidents will see a WHOPPER....... trust me, it's a WHOPPER.... and upsized too!!

well to sum it up:

if the motoring insurance industry bleeds, you bleed.......

sounds familiar???? haha
