just read this "Singapore's public transport operators were fined for not meeting service standards in a biannual Public Transport Council (PTC) review"
i was thinking, what for? why fine them??? is it a strong deterrent?
and how much were the fines? $9,300 and $1,000 from SBS and SMRT respectively.... haha......... oh come on, be honest and realistic, do you think they feel a thing.. haha.... $1,000!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahah.... fine a big corporation that SUM???? gosh........
make them pay by offering cheaper rides or free rides to commuters...for a day or a week or a month even.. instead of a fine? the commuters benefit zilch!!!!!!
btw i dun take public transport and have no vested interest......
someone pls take note.......... the fine has no bite....
