on the way home yesterday evening, i witnessed a multi vehicle pile-up on the AYE (towards Changi Airport).......... it was about 1730 hrs????
i was on lane 1 (extreme right) and just before the benjamin sheares bridge, traffic came to a COMPLETE STOP........ i always try to anticipate such situations and when i saw the brake lights of cars way ahead lighting up, i slowed down just in case they stop suddenly........ and well IT HAPPENED........ and i had sufficient braking distance.....
however, a few cars behind me did not manage to do that in time....... i heard screechinggggggggggg and BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....... from my mirrors, i could see a black suzuki swift slamming into the centre road divider..... the impact was pretty loud....... but i cant do anything to help but drive on when the traffic was moving again......
i knew it was no fault of mine but i still feel sorry for those drivers affected..........
and guess what, on the way to work this morning, there was this toyota liteace van on the extreme right lane tailgating a subaru WRX wahahahahhaa............ the van was doing 100-110 km/h........ ridiculous..... where is the police when u need them????
