and they are giving 12 gb of data with most of the iphone plans.......

so only iphones get 12 gb.... then what about the rest ..?? the rest have no phones ah..?? the rest dun need data isit.... ??

looks like there is an on-going war among the telcos for their mobile internet plans......

this week m1 is offering their 1 gb plan at 9.95 per month ...........but of course one gonna sign a 24 months contract with them......

well this kinda matches what starhub is doing but not to forget, users on starhub get free mobile tweets and always-free MSN on-line as well as demand TV..... not that i wanna watch TV on my phone but who's to complain for something that's FREE

recently i'd changed to M1's 20 mb plan at 5.35.... so should i upgrade to this..??? but i hate to be bound by another contract......

hmmmm, it's just another 5 dollars more .....

before the weekend, our friend mentioned that he's finally going to get a new phone.......

much earlier he was interested in the htc diamond 2 but recently he has set his sights on the samsung omnia 2.... a new entry that's pretty feature-rich.....

i have nothing against the phone but why did the koreans come up with such a name ....... omnia??? what's that ...??? simi lai eh..?? diamond or pro is a thousand time better sounding haha.....

other than the meaningless name, the phone's pretty COOL....... quite obvious as our friend was so engrossed with his new toy that he wasnt interested to eat when da food arrived ...

yes the htc diamond 2 is out today.....

and after comparing the offers from the 3 telcos, the verdict is to go for singtel....

cos they are giving out a 8gb card and a 4gb thumbdrive with the smartphone.... while the rest are offering a 2gb card............ again m1 is the miser here.....

sing to the rest...

for this week, singtel is selling the sony x1 at a much lower price than the other 2 service providers.....

S$598 with a basic plan!....

that's a mouth-watering deal.....!!

to think the rest are retailing it at S$898...

still $498 for a 2-yr plan, i think this is a reasonable choice.............. win mobile 6.1, 2.3 mp camera (no autofocus? duh), gps and tag.......... not too bad....

some might complain about the qvga screen but a phone is still a phone........ what do u think expect? 1920 x 1080? maybe it might happen one day but that day is still ages away......

maybe i should go and see the phone before deciding....

in these days when upgrading handphones is as common as having supper, who else is still hanging on to legacies ..... one of which is my dopod 838 pro....

perhaps dopod should present me with a long service award........... for demonstrating product longevity haha.....

meanwhile i should also be hunting for a replacement..... i think this great guy cant go on forever....

sooner or later, it's going to konk out....... i do hope it's later though....
