i have not seen this for a good good long time...... how often do you see a rider that banks at the same angle with his bike????

forgive me but i was laughing as i saw this and i really enjoyed this moment...... he even kept his elbow locked throughout the turn....??!!

making a statement with bmw

i first saw this at autoblog.com.....

some of you might have seen it but some may not...... anyway no harm watching it again.....

pretty cool with what they did in the end.... and i think the bike though nice, still does not match a ducati in the drool factor.....

it's all about traction....

a classic car vs bike shoot-out....... but so so interesting.......

from the first look, i have the impression that this was a bmw.......

but no no, it's a honda......

so why is honda trying to make a bike that looks like a bmw.... ???

a weekend of crashes...???

what a day!! cant remember the last time it happened.......

can anyone remember how many crashes were there at suzuku (f1) and estoril (motogp) this weekend.....???

way too many ...!! and over the estoril, bikes were dropping like bees.... SCARY!!

but that's the real bit about racing....... going ALL THE WAY TO THE LIMIT....!! i like..!!

a diversion....

this afternoon i was hoodwinked...... by a diversion that wasnt THAT diversion......

i check rear view and side mirrors very frequently while on the road and ....when i saw this familiar shape appearing in my mirror i decided to slow down, just in case.......

and in time, this bugger managed to catch up and then i saw ...ALAMAK..... just a silver yamaha diversion 900....... AH CHEY...!!

i have no idea what these ppl are up to........ and who are these ppl? YeAH those that buy and ride diversion 900 motorcycles with side panniers and full fairings .....

for the fun of it i was browsing photos stored in the hard drive.... and i thought some of which are quite memorable..... like this one....

only my bike and i at cameron highlands....... the rest were still making their way up and since there was a junction, i had to stop and wait.....

i wasnt sure what is in blue valley but the name is pretty cool haha....... even though blue valley sounds kinda out of place sandwiched between simpang pulai and gua musang..

i remember i was pretty glad to see the yellow sign...... but what i didnt know was there was still quite a long way to go before we reach the hostel...

anyway cameron highlands nowadays is a heavily populated and polluted place....... not cool at all....... but the ride up and there was simply terrific.... :)

genting..!

this was taken in genting highlands a few years ago..........

kinda missed the days of riding and going for long trips....... every time i went up genting, the feeling was never quite the same haha........

each and every trip was fun and it's still one of the most enjoyable place to go riding or driving....... especially the karak highway and not forgetting the way up and down.......

rash or negligent....

if someone is dead bcos of another's actions or inaction, it doesnt really matter that much if THAT action or inaction was rash or negligent.......

of cos it STILL matters when we need to determine the culpability...... as in to what extent that rash or negligent motorist ought to be punished....

but then... tell that to the dead victim....

sometimes i just feel that life as a motorcyclist or pillion rider is just so darned "cheap".......

after so many years since 2004, my favourite litre bike is still the yamaha r-1.........

hehe but in this case i am not so keen on the colour........

no doubt blue is still the best-looking........... and of cos black is always nice......
