incremental discounts

for now i am getting 11% discount off the pump price at caltex with a HSBC credit card...

if i need more, i can get 12% with a corporate discount package with esso....

is that a good deal?

certainly not the best if you compare what you can get at SPC with POSB everyday card + SPC discount card or the citibank mobil card + citibank dividend credit card......

these cards give you rebates for the amount spend at the pumps but it's worth the trouble only if you use credit cards regularly...... if i need cash discounts then the corporate package is straight-through best....

for a while i used shell petrol until they dropped 92 octane fuel from their line.... and i love 92..!!! save me a few bucks each time......
