and prices continue to drop and drop..... almost as fast as you can say INTEL.......
the issue is MOST and MOST of us do not need the increased computer power EVER..... but since we can get better performance for less money on an basis, who are we to complain....
a replacement period of 3 years is still reasonable and i plan to stick to it until the present one KO....
sometimes the temptation will rise itself ... especially during the quarterly mega computer shows we have either at the expo or suntec city....
by then things really get cheap....... and real cheap..... who can resist the herd mentality during these events when people RUSH to buy and buy.....
if you are not keen to drop some dollars then better stay away.......
