there are mainly 2 types of panerai watches........manual winding and automatic self winding.....
of the contemporary series...the pam 104 is the most common model.....for I series, there are 4000 units manufactured...
the watch case is 44 mm all stainless......and uses a movement based on the valjoux 7750......similar to other watches with this movement, there is a distinct wobble from the rotor at its free spinning state (the movement winds CW).....the most defining feature is of cos the crown protection device, which helps the watch maintain a 300m WR despite the absence of a screw-in crown....

the dial is classic panerai.....luminous stick markers and a small seconds at 9 o'clock position.....there is also a date at 3 o'clock which is magnified with a reverse cyclop lens...
