Yardley sandalwood soap bar

This is so affordable that you might just give it a miss ... Cos many people associate quality with high prices and they could be put off by this low-cost "luxury" soap bar...

When I first tested the aerosol version, I was aghast .... The deodorant was really bad ... Awful!!

But I decided to give Yardley a chance and picked up both the soap and eau de toilette at Mustafa .....

After using it for a few weeks I can say that they are not too bad..  Lather is rich and smooth and the scent is strong but not overbearing .... However, the scent faded quickly after rinsing ...

For a soap bar it cleanses adequately .... But it does make the skin feels drier than most shower gels ...

Will I buy again? Well probably not ... I still prefer gel and foam for convenience ... And these usually moisturises better ...

Compared to some hardcore fans, I may have only a few pieces of the AR cable insulator ... But that won't stop me from sharing with you guys what I think of their latest version made from hickory wood...

All because 1 single piece alone can help when placed under the most vulnerable cable ... If you can't afford multiple pieces dun fret, just buy 1 first ...

Due to the pressure of currency exchange rates, AR products have become more expensive by quite a big margin ... And the new cable insulator does not escape that fate as well...

It's not exactly a value for money product at all ..

To cut the test short, I compared the old and new under the Acrolink 6100 power cord from the wall to the distributor.....

So what's the difference ..??? What's the improvement ..???

Over 1 test track of familiar music, I heard a blacker and quieter background ..... Separation between voices and instruments are also better ...

So it's not a HUGE difference of day and night proportions ... So should you upgrade??

Well if you want the best, the hickory insulator is definitely better ... If not, you can mix the new and old pieces if you are already a converted user ...

Try it if you are one who is anal about lifting all your cables off the floor..... Just remember to add them in gradually to enjoy the incremental improvement ...

i found that there are not too many pictures of shun mook mpingo discs and some of their products so i might as well add a couple of them for those that are looking for these at google images

to be frank, i wasn't always a true believer in the magic of shun mook......

i remember buying first the mpingo discs and then the spatial control kit from HIFI CORNER,which was really located in a corner of The Adelphi....... each disc was S$80 and the kit maybe errrr S$800 IIRC.....

after using them for so many years, i may have become accustomed to their effects and took things for granted......

do they work?

errr i think they do but depending on how and where one uses the disc, it may not be very effective....... so the key is keep trying until you get it or give up.....

lately i decided to play around with the spatial control kit again...... first by moving the brackets back 1/2 inch and also the discs on the speaker 1/2 inch........

AHA, this time there's no doubt about it.......!! the adjustment made have given the soundstaging greater depth and dimension.......!!!

since i like what i am hearing, i will put more effort to tune the soundstage and tonal balance incrementally until the desired effects are achieved....
