When the guy at one of the CD booths was pushing this at the HK hifi show, I thought the songs are all original compositions ....

Upon listening tonight I realised they are covers...

But not just any normal effort cos she's very good ....!!

I went browsing and window shopping at Challenger .. Just merely browsing without any intent to buy...

Also realised that I had paid less for the D-link NAS at SLQ than what Challenger is selling ... :)

Was looking at wireless routers and found this model that has built in power line ....

That's good ...

It's something I should look at when I upgrade the old man router I have ...

Aha I'm now officially a member of Old Girls departmental store..!!

work and rest...

today is a full working day; all the way from before sunrise to after sunset.....

i wouldn't say it was taxing but no matter what, i still have to get things done....

in a way it's a relief to knock off and upon reaching home i just wanna lie down and rest....

maybe i am tired or maybe i am still bothered by the persistent cough and flu....

anyway there's nothing else to bother me for now until the next day....

now i'm not sure if i enjoyed my day....

Medical ammo

Ever since I came back from HK, I've been nursing a irritated throat...

No matter what and how I tried it didn't go away... All until a couple of days ago all hell broke loose and down am I again....

It is really hell cos the cough and flu is bad bad and bad.... On many occasions I even had difficulty breathing and had to calm myself down to catch my next breath...

Anyway I can no longer put things off and have to resort to taking medical leave....

The doctor promptly recognised that things are quite bad and gave me 2 days off without me asking...

He even gave me antibiotics!! And some other drowsy medicine that are regularly dispensed for flu and cough...

So now I can do nothing but rest well ..!!

A motorola cable modem feeds the incoming signal to an elderly linksys wireless router ....

The new baby NAS is just beside the router .... And the blue LED shows that there are 2 HDD within....

My Amanda McBroom LP is probably more than 20 years-old....

And all these years I didn't buy the CD...

When I saw this selling for HK$110, I know it's time to get one...

gold face....

this can be a centre-piece for someone who only needs a CD player and nothing else......

i have no idea how much Atlas Sound is selling this in Singapore.... 

but what is sure is one can save a big chunk of money by buying it in Hong Kong......

accuphase is just so COOL....

less choices...

for every model they offer, tyres companies make them in a wide range of sizes......

so what are they up to...???

or is the issue all due to the car manufacturers.....???

can't they all sit down and decide on a few most popular choices ...???

e.g. having to make 225/40-18, 225/45-18, 235/40-18 and even 245/40-18 is a waste of everybody's time and money......

give them less choices and the car manufactures will know what to choose accordingly....

Currently Volkswagen is giving away 10 years’ worth of road tax for buying a new car from them..... and isn’t that cool.....!! 

 

For a 2k cc car, one can save about $1200 every year.....!

 

Now how about this...????

 

When you buy a Perodua, you get a 10 years free servicing package (including parts and labour)..!!!!

Maybe they have a problem clearing their stock of a no-longer-in-production car and only they know how many units are left......

 

At S$156,000 each, I dun think they will find an owner soon enough.....

 

Nowadays people might just switch to Audi or Volkswagen for the brand and convenience......

well i dun find the 595 as bad as described.....

but i cant say for the 595 evo and rsr as i have no experience with them...

to be honest, i find the 595 more than OK for the price i paid for them about 2 years ago....

which was $170 a piece for 225/45-18....

This is the first CD to kick off tonight's listening session....

During working days, I get to wake up on time in the morning and have breakfast before I start work.....

 

When it’s time for my lunch break, I will proceed and consume a small portion ...

 

Everything is planned and goes according to plan when I’m working....

 

But when it comes to my off days and weekends, things just turn haywire .....

 

Firstly I would always sleep late and wake up ever later .....

 

Breakfast is usually coffee and a cereal bar.... and that will last me until 3-4 pm when I have to look for a late late lunch......

 

A late late lunch means that my dinner will be delayed until...... until I’m hungry again.....

 

So maybe off days are not doing me any good in terms of healthy eating....
