WOW..... he had absolutely no chance to slow the car down...... and straight into the tire wall he went...... BANG...!...

amazingly he suffered from no visible injuries but still they sent him to the hospital..... just in case...... well well the modern f1 car is pretty well-built to withstand such an impact....

oh boy was he lucky but credit to the carbon fibre monocoque cockpit.... it sure saved his life....

rolex daytona: now in ROSE GOLD

although there were rumours, i did not quite believe there will be a daytona in rose gold.....

why? well the daytona is classified as a rolex oyster professional watch aka rolex sports watch....... and never were there any oyster professional watches in rose gold...... they were only available in stainless steel, ss and gold, yellow gold and white gold.......



well finally there is not one but two models............ and i believe more will be made available........... with more dial options i mean.....



i prefer the one with a black dial........

incredible morning: UEFA champions league Q-final

ok ok i stayed up to catch the game between liverpool and arsenal at anfield..... and MY GOD, it is way way incredible.......

finally a new rolex submariner...... 116618 ?

ok so this is official..... finally we have a new submariner...... i have yet to see the model number published but most likely it will be 116618...... (FYI the current submariner in 18k YG is 16618, most of the time they add one digit at the front to denote a new improved model)......

as widely expected, the submariner received the supercase and maxidial treatments...... in fact very similar to the improvements made to the gmt master 2 a couple of years ago...... not forgetting the ceramic bezel of cos...... i am itching to see a new version of the fliplock bracelet and its diver extension.......

however, looking at the latest trends, i am very afraid the new asking price might be too much to swallow..... the 16610 (submariner in SS) is now selling for S$8228 and the 116710 (gmt master 2 in SS) S$9599........ i suspect when the 116610 (the ss version) finally come to singapore, we could expect a $12000 list price ..... will the 116610 come with a fully brushed steel bracelet or are the centre links polished? only time will tell......

this is one serious piece of equipment...! why is that so....?? well well cos this watch can track 5 time zones simultaneously...!!! haha....

u must be a real world traveller to need this...... i cant imagine why anyone would need this..... 2 or 3 time zones are more than enough......

nonetheless the winding crown is pretty cute....... although the watch is far from handsome....

omega - aqua terra

omega makes good watches ...no doubt about it...... their iconic watches are of cos the speedmaster professional and seamaster (endorsed by 007)......

and the latest aqua terra watches is not only good but better....... finally the bracelet links are put together with screws! hurrayyyy !!!!!!!!! for i hate friction pins....... absolutely.....!

not only is the dial beautiful.... but also the hour markers and hands....... the bracelet design, while abit similar to the rolex oyster bracelet, suits the aqua terra very well....

some may find this too similar to the rolex explorer ..... and i am one who think likewise...... however, the explorer sells for a much higher price...... and value conscious customers may just pick the omega.....

i think we have really messed up our world.......

there are climate problems........ too much water in one place while nary a drop falls on another.... toooo HOT in one place while others freeze to death in another....... is this nature or is it all man-made........

there are wars...... people fighting each other for no good reasons .... some do not even understand why and what they are fighting for....... resulting in terrible deaths............ and pain and sorrow....

we now face sky-high oil prices....... as well as rising food prices..... rice sugar milk coffee soya beans u name it we have it.......

i dunno what's next.......
