Roast & soak

I was roasted at noon at the CEC but by late afternoon, the easten part was battered by a heavy rain storm...absolutely crazy

Aeroplane...

I was given a ticket for the air show so why not..

But the the weather & transport expenses are painful...

Parking = $100
Taxi to CEC not insignificant due the distance
Surcharge for taxi from CEC = $8
Bottled drinks from $2

Of cos I took a cab...

If not for the free ticket on a trade day, I won't go even if it's free... Moreover the flying display ended at 1230 instead of 1300....

who's paying...

when people lose their lives in road accidents, we need to ask what happened: driver at fault? pedestrian at fault? road design at fault and what else?

if people choose to jay-walk, they have to face the risks and consequences..... e.g. cross a minefield carelessly and one could be blown to bits......

so what can be done to improve the situation at Upper Thomson Road....? add traffic lights? add overhead bridge? add this add that? all of these cost money and some can lead to traffic congestion......

hear this: someone even suggested to have escalators for one particular overheard bridge near her place of worship......... so is she going to pay for it?

let's be realistic.... we cannot have an overhead bridge or traffic lights every 100 or 200 m....... people who wish to cross to the other hand have a choice: use the existing bridge or traffic lights.... if they find the distance an obstacle, they can cross the road carefully....

i wonder what can LTA do....... install a speed camera to force cars to slow down..??? i dun think so.....

this man went shopping after securing his dog at a tree with the leash..... of cos the dog went missing....

and i am not surprised at all.....

One has a right to make a choice...whether it's a vote of confidence, vote of protest or simply an abstain it's up to the individual...

Dun let 1 or 2 men out there influence u...they think they know better but hey come on, you have a choice...not happy just say so...

Shoe tip...

To make shoes last longer, never wear them everyday & consecutively...they need the rest haha...

Even though I love the comfort of my magnum boots, I have to switch to another pair on alternate days...if not they will be gone in no time...

Urchin...

Saw a tv show on seafood...& the host was trying fresh sea urchin sashimi..

This reminded me of the time when CSS & I were having dinner.....

Facing the slab of sea urchin we had ordered, he said.... he dun wanna taste urine... cos sea urchin sashimi tasted like urine....
