for about US$400, there's a lot of options when it comes to used brembo brake calipers......

upfront it all looks simple but as the calipers are designed to fit evo 8/9/x, a customised bracket is necessary to make the calipers work in my car.....

the cost to machine a good quality bracket will brake or break the budget haha..... at least need to set aside close to S$1000 for a set of 4 (front and rear).....

yeah not bad at all............ quality and feel is good and although it comes only in red, it's a value-for-money buy.....

no longer new..... but

as newness overcomes the present and the old, there comes a time when even the most beautiful things we behold now will have to move aside for the latest and brightest.....

so even though the 360 is no longer a coveted piece of machinery, it is still a ferrari nonetheless..... and is still good enough to catch the attention of a few...... furthermore it doesnt need the tagline such as the ultimate driving machine to be attractive for the many motorsport fans around the world....

which is why giancarlo fisichella could not say NO when ferrari knocks on the door...... such is the appeal of the marque of the prancing horse..... no sane italian can resist the lure of racing for ferrari.....

out of curiosity i decided to take another look at what the ralliart pit is offering this weekend.... in case i missed out the goodies last week so here's the last opportunity ....

oh my there was a good lunch-time crowd already there when i arrived....... but since i was no longer interested in apparels, i could stay away from the hungry beasts who gathered around the t-shirt and polo-short areas.....

after a couple of rounds, i'd settled on 2 items..... the radiator cap at $25 and a bright red lancer ex cap at $10......

on the papers today: the ralliart warehouse clearance sale is still on....!!

from what i saw last week, it was quite a disorganised mess so i wonder if they worked on it to improve for the coming days....

too bad there wasnt much on offer for the lancer ex....... but if you are driving a cs3, there are some goodies there.... i especially like the fuel cap cos it looks like a thousand-dollar accessory haha....

driving is more enjoyable nowadays....

cos during acceleration, the fun factor is being boosted by the pivot 3 drive......

and when it comes to braking, the steel braided lines allow the driver to brake later and harder ..... making it safer.....

so driving is becoming more and more fun........

ok finally the brake lines are ready and over the course of a good hour or two, they are finally up on the car.....

after bleeding the brake system, the pedal feel is awesome...!!.....

of cos the real test is a good stomp on the brakes when the car is on the road..... and this time, there's no doubt of what a set of good steel braided brake lines can do for your confidence and also safety....

you should seriously consider doing it.... especially for your own sake.....

when it comes to the months of a year, i like july and august quite a big deal....

cos there are 31 days in both the 2 months.... which means i do not have to adjust the date for my watches haha...

aha the next adjustment is on 30 sep...... yahoooooo...!!
