rainy season.......

i think the rainy season is here..... it's been rainy non-stop since morning....

and over the past few days, the sky is just gloomy cloudy and grey.....

dampens the mood if one is thinking of going out..... haha

might as well stay at home

and catch the olympics action on tv....

remote control..???? JLC again....

seriously i dun quite understand why they made this............ which is also a transponder for the aston martin dbs.....

yes it is a beautiful car.... and there is a beautiful watch.......... but having to use the watch to operate access to the car? dun think it's necessary............ sure it sounds cool ..... but nah, what if i wish to wear another watch when driving??? should i leave the amvox 2 dbs transponder at home???

and i think the non-transponder version looks better........ haha.......... having that big DBS on the dial is sucky..........

so to ensure i wake up in time this morning............ i set my seiko alarm clock....... hoseki digital alarm with snooze function and also my radio with timer.......

but i still managed to sleep on a little while more....... i guess i just like to sleep............ :)

better late than to give up 5 mins of my sleep..! and better late than never....

such a chore..

yes such a chore to wakeup so early in the morning....... cos i have to attend a meeting much earlier than i start work.....

as usual i hit the snooze button in a flash........ and a few times after the first.......! fortunately i managed to wakeup in time .... if not i am done for.... haha

did my job ok and now counting down to 5.30 pm.........

i know i have a problem waking up on time ......... maybe i love sleeping too much and just dun wanna get out of bed....... is more alarm clocks a solution??? or shd i start sleeping earlier..... ???

how do you cope with that???

many collectors baulk at the prices ADs are asking for popular rolex models........ some examples, notably are

submariner ss 16610lv aka green bezel (prices have soften a little recently)
gmt master 2 ss 116710
milgauss 116400 and 116400gv
deepsea sea-dweller 116600

no doubt the hottest watch of the year for rolex is the massive deepsea............ i believe all the ADs and private sellers are looking to reap as much as they can in the coming months....... the deepsea would also likely be stealing the thunder from the very popular 116710 when it arrives.....

i think there's a likelihood that the price for the 116400 might be approaching MSRP soon....... and watch out for the 16610 when rolex launches a new submariner ss in 2 years' time..... i bet prices for that discontinued model will shoot through the roof.... anyway that's my guess
