No one will know the exact answer since the PRC driver is no longer around .....
Perhaps his passenger can provide some clues but I bet she can’t remember a thing .... The impact and G forces she was subjected to could have wiped out her memory for the time being ....
If you frequent the area, you’ll know that there is another set of traffic lights at the bus stop about 40m before the ill-fated junction..... And they usually do not turn green or red at the same time.....
Suppose the PRC driver was doing 150 kph, he probably didn’t see the second set of traffic lights until it was too late....
That’s my gut feel.....
No one will ever know ....
