some RM news.....

managed to catch some of the latest .......richard mille watches and a clock ...........

saw (and touched) the rm013.........the only piece in the world and what a beast of a clock it is.........definitely uber cool and looks very complicated .....its mechanism is way beyond my understanding of how a clock works......there's a spirit level built in so pls make sure if u buy the clock, place it on a ultra-level table............so how about splashing out S$4.5 million dollars on a planetarium clock...............

the display came with a glass cover.......with 15 days of power reserve......shd be pretty fun to hand-wind the clock haha.......and i have never seen a bigger balance wheel than what it has.......

saw and the tried on the rm011-fm..........
hmmmmm.............looked huge in pictures, looked Humungous!! in the showcase...........but looks just FINE on my wrist haha..........*DREAM WATCH*...!!................sadly the waiting list is pretty LONG and my bank balance is not even close....i believe it will be a LONG wait for the delivery............

although quite alot bigger than the rm005..........it did not feel any heavier...the lightweight titanium really helps......i m sure it will feel very different in gold.........surely it does make the rm005 looks puny in some ways....

saw and tried on the rm016 in rg........and in black pvd...........hmmmmm.....looked small in pictures and pretty big in the showcase.............but again............just FINE on my wrist too............the black pvd versions is sleek metallic chic................COOL is the word....well the black version, specially made for tempus 07, is completely sold out..............23 pieces in total, all sold out.............wish i could have got my hands on one haha.......

the rm012 did not managed to make it to singapore for the event...........too bad, cos always wanted to see it LIVE...

sorry cant show any live pictures as i didnt bring my camera...............anyway most of the pros there using DSLR so no point bring my P&S camera haha............

hamilton - khaki king sub

just in......pretty cool and i think these are nice, especially the black dial version......41 mm diameter....now maybe 43 mm could be even more popular haha.....

now a serious diver's watch shd be rated to at least 200 m wr.......so hamilton could have done it better........100 m is barely sufficient.......

noticed the crown guards extends almost all the way to the crown itself ........it may just make unwinding the crown a little difficult.....

the day and date features are nice to have......while the hands are typical of what hamilton khaki watches use........

some ppl may not like the fact that 3 and 9 are much larger than the rest of the numerals on the dial but i think it's ok........bezel fonts also match what was used on the dial ....

overall i think it's a good entry level sports watch.......

quoted from timezone "MSRP is $495 for the rubberized leather strap and $545 for the bracelet model"

dare to be different....

let the pictures do the talking..............

such a daring effort ...i wouldnt say it's beautiful but it sure catches your attention......at 42.5 mm in diameter, this is the biggest rolex watch thus far.....

will you buy one..?....i think probably not haha.....moreover these 2 models, in full 18 kt YG and WG/Pt......no way they are affordable....

very likely the TT models will appear at basel 08..........and will there be a SS model...??........only rolex knows...

a little bit more of the pam104

first picture is self-explanatory.....

the solid caseback looks like this....

i like the crown protector very much.......

fat fat hands.....

between the 116710 (ss) and 116713 (tt or half-gold), i kinda prefer the tt...........why though? well, i think that 18 kt yellow gold matches the supercase and ceramic bezel in a better way......the 116718 is a totally different animal, it's one big chunk of all 18 kt yellow gold.......

hee, if i have the cash, of cos i would like to own THAT beast of a gold watch......at the moment, it's way too much for me.....

i find it weird that i never liked the 16713......therefore, the new features that come with the 11671* series are a godsend.......it gives the gmt master 2 a complete "a little less than extreme" makeover........it is now more muscular and with a new lease of life, gives us a glimpse of the new direction that rolex is heading towards......

green is used for the "gmt master 2" and the 24 hr hand..............all the hands and lume surrounds are 18 kt yellow gold

on the 11671* series of gmt master 2 watches.....the hour hand is also wider........this is in addition to the wider minute hand first introduced in the ym and then the submariner lv....

with a macro lens, one can catch the laser-etched coronet clearly......

my favourite rolex tt sports watch...........the 116713...!

oyster bracelet

so many questions about what is SEL.....and what are hollow links...??

ok....a few pictures to settle it once and for all.....

and from the back...

square square.....

ha dun like the tonneau shape of most RM watches???..........well help in here and now there's a choice, the rm016...

it uses the same movement as the rm010........a skeletonised version of the one used in the rm005

well looks especially good in rose gold.....

luxury sports - richard mille rm015

i am a fan of richard mille watches......expensive they are and most of their watches were in fact inspired by automative themes and materials........carbon fibre, titanium, ceramic ball-bearings atc

in particular the felipe massa watches like the rm005-fm, rm009-fm and now the awesome rm011 are really dreams come true for the f1 fanatics......

recently they launched a new line of maritime watches......one of which is the rm015 shown below.....

very different hands were put into the watch.......i must say i really like the shape of these hands........and my gosh, look at the crown! isnt that handsome...???.........

u have to spend some time to slowly go thru every aspect of the design.........notice the brush surfaces and also the polished areas......and it looks great in rose gold......

the movement baseplate is made of carbon nanofibre....very rigid and also quite resistant to the effects of wide temperature changes.....am not too sure if other manufactures have used this material in their tourbillons.......

supplementing the hour display is a 2nd time zone shown on a sapphire crystal disc just beside the 10 o'clock position.....if your budget allows this, u seriously have to consider getting this one.....
