60 years....!

Many ppl drink whisky.....

 

And they usually never give a heck whether it’s a single malt or blended .... Or from Kentucky or Scotland....

 

Even though I’d heard of single malt, I have never laid my hands on any .....

 

And this morning I was intrigued reading about 60 years old single malt whisky from Scotland at US$20,000 a bottle..!!!

 

WOW..!!!

 

I think I will stick to 12 years old....

 

Good enough for almost everyone else....

So after providing the PIN, the ATM should ask for another password...  Either a confidential question or number generated by either app or some little gadget.....

A belated sale

Can't remember when I'd posted a For Sale for my MSB DAC....

Must have been for months ....

For so long there wasn't a single query .... Damn!

Maybe the asking price was too high at $900.... Or maybe people can't be bothered with a DAC without a USB input ....

After a few weeks of trying I was getting frustrated .... Since there was no interest, I wrapped everything up with a roll of plastic film and chucked them in a corner of the room...

For reasons that I can't explain and perhaps for fun I decided to drop the price and try once more...

So on Sunday I bumped my thread again...

And at $400 it was sold in a day..!!

That's fast huh ....

When I first listened to this album I was so disappointed .... And I didn't feel like revisiting it anytime soon...

Sometimes impressions can change and I'm glad I gave it a 2nd chance ...

It's actually not bad as some of the songs needed more time to be acquainted with ... Give it more time and it will grow on you ...

Ah this smells so good that it even makes washing hands fun ..!! And it comes in refill packs when you run low ...

One of my peeves is the lack of refill packs for many hand & body products ... Where's the spirit for recycling and saving the earth???

Change in tone - Acrolink 6100 power cord

The latest production run looks a little different from the old....

All the old ones I'd seen has a off-white braided shield but the new one is silver in colour.... 

Much brighter and now very shiny....

Is it better ??? Well I can't tell ....

Clear gel

Unlike normal moisturisers, this doesn't make you feel oily after use ....

The clear gel is thick but is still easy to spread and massage on the skin ... I hate it when I have to use extra effort just to apply cream or gel ...

Most importantly it makes your skin smooth and cool .. Just what I need to help my over tanned skin recover ...

Trying to understand

By right power cables should not make just a significant difference and till now I'm still baffled ...

My mind is saying it's just a few feet of copper wires to supply AC to the component ....

But my ears have heard a difference ... And pretty huge in fact ....

The Acrolink 6100 PC has been a big jump from the 4030 ...

No doubt about it...!
